The Game Boy: Things I Can't Do in Skyrim.

Hee hee, funny stuff. along with some good points.

The ONE THING out of all of it that I wish I could do with a vengence and can't, my ONE disspointment with the game over all. I can't use ranged weapons from horeback. I mean WTH?

Ok, I can understand not taking out my battle axe and swinging it around because my horses head WOULD roll.. but my bow? Or casting fireballs? Why not?!?!?

Having to step down off my horse to chase down a deer or step right into an attacking bear is one of thse things that bothered me about oblivion and was hoping would be fixed.

Maybe next time!

It's a testament to the game that there can be those annoyances and glitches and a person (myself included) will still call it a completely awesome game

After that horrendous job Bethesda did with Fallout New Vegas I'm sure management got together and said let's NOT do that again

Anyway there isn't a game (or piece of software) released that doesn't, or wont, have bugs, glitches.... or criticisms.

Those aside, for an initial release game, there are no hardcore show stopping Fallout New vegas issues with the game.

The game simply came to play, and it's doing that rather well, despite the ney sayers

guys im just waiting for HITMAN ABSOLUTION, i saw the 16mins gameplay and im in love!!!! it had the sami fischer feeling to it..hanging from the ledge..sneaking up behind people!! and sexy suited bald man!! too good..though iv been seeing people not appreciating the genre revived agen..bt still im waiting for it!!!!

AND also playing battlefied 2 and it made me realize tht having 2 GTX 260 in SLI mode is NOT ENOUGH :s darn it!!!

After all the Skyrim talk, I've joined the bandwagon. Now I see why New Vegas was released as it was - they had the work experince kids code that game while the real developers worked on Skyrim

And unlike NV, I might actually finish Skyrim...

I can see why people don't like the new UI, but I actually like it. Most of it anyway. It suits controllers better.

Today was my first day in Steelport Now, after 8 hours of nonstop playin, i'm finally falling asleep...

SR The Third is great! Much better than second one.
Character creator is the best overall i've seen so far (better then Oblivion, ME 1&2...). Car physics are still lame just like in SR2 but now i'm playing with xbox 360 pad so now driving is much better.

BTW have you run into/killed any giants? I got 2. Be careful with those guys as they will send you flying

i tried having a go at a couple of giants quite early on, and learned that they were much much tougher than me, so i've left them alone for a while.

i may have another pop at one soon, now i'm a bit more ranked up.

Yeah I was at level 14 before I even ran into one. Here's a hint..... poison arrows. And stay away from them

I tried to be a hunter, and stalked a mammoth. Got a bonus on sneak attack, and just started raining down arrows on the mammoth till it FINALLY died, and when i went closer to take what ever it gives, a giant started smacking me, usually if i dont bother them, they leave me, after i got killed(with like 3 hits) i reloaded and watched the mammoth first, they are like sheep to the giant, you touch it,and the giant beats you up lol, that was a good surprise for me

On one of my many adventures I cam upon a dead mammouth and went to investigate and noticed a giant nearby. I was like what the heck, let me see if I can kill this guy, so that's how I got my giant kill. Haven't tried to take on a mammoth yet.

And yeah, 2 or 3 good hits a giant sends you flying through the air and you die. It's quite funny actually

lol, Yup, Sofar i killed 4 dragons, but not one giant...gonna have to change that soon haha.

I have started playing NFS The Run today(after waiting a day for EA to sort their problems out) and sofar I can't say that i like it, the races are fun, but not great, the cras start off real nice, and the graphics look super...but I don't know, can't say it's that good...was hoping for way more...

Anyway back to skyrim. This may be a spoiler for some,so just take note of that

That's who I have. Though I don't use her all the time I like that she's an archer so she stays out of range.

BTW you can pickup random companions. I was in a city and ran into a guy who wanted to fight me. After I bested him I used him as a companion for a side quest.

the sabre-tooth cats are pretty fearsome as well - take 'em out with a bow using stealth for bonus attack points..

those giants are nuts - one hit and I was sailing through the air - kerplunk!!

Yeah I posted about how the saber tooths owned me at level 12. I'm at 16 now and the one I ran into didn't give me too much trouble this time.
