I have had my laptop for two years, and I have never really had any problems with it. A couple days ago I turned off my computer and everything was fine (I had finally gotten rid of all the viruses on my laptop). Then the next morning, I couldn't connect to the internet. All the other computers in the house worked but mine. I checked to make sure it was connected to our family's network, and it was, but it kept saying it was "identifying". I tried restarting and reconnecting to the internet, but nothing changed. I ran a diagnostic and it said my 'gateway' wasn't working. I went online and googled the problem, but with few results. I found somewhere that this program called 'Bonjour' was the cause of the problem, and I disabled it, but it still stayed the same. I'm not sure what to do, and I know this problem has come up before with other people, but I am not a huge computer expert, and it was harder for me to understand. If someone could please help walk me through this to solve the problem, it would be greatly appreciated. I have a Toshiba 32-bit, in case you are wondering. Thanks in advance to those who reply.

Hi Gamer611,
Open Device Manager, right click Network adapter and uninstall (KEEP THE DRIVERS) repeat if any more wireless adapters are there.
Reboot and reconnect in usual way.

I did everything as you said and it didn't work. Any more solutions I could try?

That statement alone would make me re-install Windows.

Then I guess that is what I will try next...

EDIT: I reset my computer back to factory settings and now it works like a charm! Thank you both for your help.
