I'm gonna step out on a limb here and guess you need a larger power supply. The graphic card requires a lot of power, I think the power supply is getting hot...

Are you by chance overclocking?

If so reset to default at least to test.

We do need the DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking.

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
*If the files are too large please upload them to a file sharing service like "Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply.

To ensure minidumps are enabled:

* Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
* Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
* Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
* Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
* Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
* OK your way out.
* Reboot if changes have been made.

No I have not overclocked the CPU as I don't have enough cooling for the moment. As for the DMP files I've attached them to this post. I did as JMH said, but after checking the size of the files not being 256kb, am not sure if this will help. However I'm sure Ill end up writing another DPM file. Ill attach it later if needed. Thanks again for the help guys.

The vast amjority of these were related to your 4+ year old athrxusb.sys driver. I would update it with the newest available.

I tried updating it, it says newest version has already been installed, should I get a different wireless card?

If that is the absolute newest driver you can try re-installing it in compatibility mode (its easy) and it might work. Only other option is a new card.

Compatibility mode=right click the installer>properties>compatibility> chose OS (perhaps vista SP-1)

Hmm... Its not a installer but just a couple of file which I have to manually update. I selected "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer" And after a while it said "Windows has successfully updated your driver software", I don't know if that solved the issue, but if the BSoD keeps happening I will get a new wireless card. Anyways you said that majority of the BSoD were because of the athrxusb.sys driver, could you please tell me about the other ones? I would really like to get all drivers updated in case I'm missing any. Yet again thanks for the help!

Do you mean just the drivers that are older, or the ones that are apt to cause BSOD's?

As usual crashes are a combination of things culminating in the crash. The only way to be fairly certain with software is to re0install win 7. With hardware it is a bit less certain.

On some systems they never happen, on some, they happen more often. Legacy systems (older) are more prone to them.

Well the could you please clarify the older drivers that I have? Thanks for all the help guys, I do think I'll get a new wireless card. I was hosting a Terraria server earlier and a hour later I crashed. What would you guys recommend? A wireless pci card or a wireless USB adapter?

Also kind of odd, I used to have a 7 year old computer that never crashed (not like it could run much).

P.S. Where could I find a tutorial to learn how to read DMP files, or is that a bit too advanced for common reach?

How To Find Drivers:
- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
- - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference Driver Reference
- - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: Drivers and Downloads

I am working on a seven year old computer using win 8 and have never crashed either.

There is an entry level application called blue screen view (by nirsoft) that does a decent job. (it is sometimes wrong)
