There is a Portal Pak for 17.49 what do you think it would be Portal 1 and 2 never played either of them

any thoughts? I think that was the only good valve tittle i seen besides counter strike and team fortress but id rather avoid those

Portal 1 & 2 are both very good, although rather short, games.

Id watch a video on gameplay to see if its the type of game youd like.



Essentially, all you do in Portal is solve a puzzle in order to reeach the exit of a room.
Pretty much all you can do is Move, jump, and open/close a portal. Thats all there is to it. Although sometimes more difficult than it would seem.

Very simple game to learn and play, and a lot of fun. At least IMHO.
I think both Portals are worth it, and it is a humorous game as well.

BTW, if interested in Team Fortress at all, just grab it. Its free to play now. Not my type of game though.

And I believe Portal has a demo... called First Slice I think? ... so you can check it out.

I also started pondering Arcania these are games i been wanting to play for a while and these are Xmas gifts to myself which 6 games cost me about 50 bucks which isnt bad

I don't know if it's still going, but Steam offered the full version of Portal 1 for free a couple month back, as a promo for Portal 2. I snatched that one up as fast as I could! I love both titles, and highly recommend them both. Portal 2 is significantly longer (at least for me) but 1 is still solid, and fills you in with all the memes from the series. Sadly, there were very few cake references in the second one...

i bought it steam sale yesterday, only played it for a couple of hours - doom 3 meets borderlands

texture pop-in is making the game nearly unplayable for me - you turn around and the objects only slowly and very noticably acquire their textures.

do you get that problem too, boogieboy?

i bought dirt3 as well, as i really enjoyed the predecessor. having more fun with it at the moment than rage. it's a shame that my xbox controller needs new batteries, which i happen to be out of right now...

I so wanted to try that one but I got screwed by game stop lol

I bought there Max payne bundle for 3.49 the darn thing is not compadible with any of the os i choose in compadability mode

So basicly i emailed gamestop or impulse.com and let them know of the purchase

since it was 3.49 it isnt that bad but i made another bad buy in getting silent hill homecoming i havnt started it yet but from what i been told it sucks

Now rage looks good but i think im going to chill on buying games if i keep getting issues with Digital downloads

45-50 would be more acceptable Im a big fan of silent hill too i beat most of them easpecially the early one's with Harry

Anyway im waiting on a reply to game stop i might grab rage since i heard it was cool i looked at the video already i started arkum asylum

im sure there's a way to unlock the fps. la noire is locked too, but i don't feel like degrades game play.

Anyway .. anyone ever play it?

i installed it some weeks ago when i bought it and it was very laggy and texture were popping up but some days ago i update my Catalyst from 11.9 to 11.12 the game is running smooth with no lag at all and no texture popping and i have vsync on and still the game is probably running about 60 FPS. Yes the slow texture loading is still noticeable after updating the driver when you move the mouse rapidly but it's no as slow as it was with the previous drivers

why not getting new batteries for the controller they are cheap!!!
