hey all,
I'm using windows 7 on vaio notebook, I need to update my wireless card Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG version 13.4.0.139 to a newer version_14.2.0.10 so I downloaded the update file from intel website when I open update it works fine but the card's version doesn't update to (14.2.0.10) it remains the same (13.4.0.139) and I'm sure that I've downloaded the right latest version from the website...please help and thank you.

Maryfy?
I think the one you got form the Vaio site would be the best and latest. As I said Laptops have special drivers to go with the specific hardware.

Well it can be a driver bug (wrong driver version displayed) so if everything works than you're fine I guess...
