Digital Cable on build 7000

Does anyone here have digital cable (DCTs) working with build 7000? I and other have received tuner in use, and video decoder errors.
No one at the green button seems to have an answer, so I thought I'd ask here.

I'm using a Hauppage 950Q tuner, works fine. Picking up all the clear QAM channels using Windows 7 Media Center. Do you mean cablecard tuner? If so, don't think I can help there.

Yeah, I guess I should be less ambiguous. Hopefully with half the world running win7 now someone will figure it out.

i have 3 ATi DCTs CableCard and all three work with 7MC. No reg hack needed to get the third one recognized.

I'm guessing you installed the KB961367 patch?

I'm upgrading from 6956 on my htpc with my fingers crossed right now.

Ok, I upgraded an installed the patch. Restarted, and still have the same issues. Strangely, when I uninstalled playready some channels started working, but with blockiness, and after switching through a few channels the tuner in use errors returned. Is there a way to remove all media center settings and start fresh?

Yeah, I added in the patch before opening 7MC for the first time. Outside of that didn't do much. After updating my ATi Display Driver I did notice a substancial playback improvement. To be honest, it still doesn't look as smooth playback as VMC, but it livable for a beta.

Yeah, well that's all it takes. I tried upgrading, and running the patch but it didn't work. Another clean install of win7. Sheesh! I've installed win7 more times that I ever did vista.

lol - and how long were you Beta testing Vista again?

I *unofficially* jumped on the Vista bandwagon with Beta 1, and officially jumped on with RC2 (which ended up being RC1 by the time they mailed it to me). After it went final I only installed a total of 5 times in almost 2 years - and part of that was because of virtual machines and part was replacement hardware that forced me into a reinstall.

Thus far, though, I have only installed W7 like 6 times in the last 3 months - changing when new builds came out then changing back, then doing build 7000 32bit then getting the official build 7000 64bit....

With Vista Beta 2 I installed that puppy like 11 times in a single month.....

I Beta tested Vista as I did XP even for as long as I could remember it being possible to do so. lol
I can tell you one thing, they were never as stable as Windows 7. I must have installed 30 versions of Vista. It seemed like there was a new version available every week and I just had to make sure I was up to date. It was almost like I never did anything else but install the op and learn the new features and spend bloody ages getting older software or hardware to work. Windows 7 seems like a walk in the park, I almost wish having the dozens of releases to install (Wonder when we will have the next build?).
Does make you wonder where we will be by the next build release though.

Keep it up Microsoft thats all I can say.
