I normally set my background color to black but lately it has been changing to blue on its own. I have searched online and can't find any HELPFUL OR USEFUL answers. Anyone figure this one out yet?

Solved

I figured out that the updated TeamViewer 7 is now changing the background to blue and it stays that way even if teamviewer is disconnected.

Same here. I love BLUE but not on my background, I like my background black... TeamViewer should have an option to not change the background color IMHO...

Hi chrislee074. Did you click the View Tab on Teamviewer and change anything?

Click View and deselect Remove Wallpaper
Click View and Click Quality then click Optimize Quality, it should then return the wallpaper.

That's the problem

The wallpaper doesn't return to normal. After it changes to blue it never turns back no matter what I change the settings to. I have to keep resetting it.
The fix is to set team viewer to never remove wallpaper before connecting then change view for speed.

In my case I *want* to remove the wallpaper but leave the background color black (my wallpaper is an image created by an app and requires the background color to be black.

I understand that checking "Never Remove Wallpaper" will fix this issue, but I'm trying to figure out what's causing this. This isn't normal behavior.

I contacted TeamViewer and they are working on fixing this issue in the next build. For now I am setting TeamViewer to not remove wallpaper then setting view quality to optimize speed

Thank you kindly for the prompt response. I just called TeamViewer, and they informed me that their latest release version which is available for download has fixed this issue. I will test this and hope it is fixed.

Thank you again Chris.

I also checked and it does seem to be fixed. If you have TeamViewer set to remove wallpaper, it will still change the background to blue but it will now change it back once the session is closed. Thanks TeamViewer!
