first bsod on the new build in 3 years, not sure what happened

i was just browsing the internet and then went to check my email and had my first legit BSOD since i built this rig in 3 years. not sure whats up. it was random. ill attach all that i can.

my system specs down below are up to date

Please uninstall the AMD OverDrive program as it can cause BSOD's on your system.
If it's the stand-alone app, uninstall it via Control Panel...Programs...Uninstall a program
If it's in the AMD VISION Engine Control Center, you can uninstall it using the AMD uninstall tool (or uninstall the entire AMD VISION Engine Control Center application through Control Panel

If the device remains a problem in perfmon /report, open Device Manager, select the "View" item.
Then select "Show hidden devices" and scroll down to the Plug and Play Drivers section.
Locate the AODDriver entry, right click on it and select "Uninstall". Reboot for changes to take affect.

Please uninstall ATI Tool. It is not compatible with Windows 7

Please run these tests and report back the results

ok, i was able to remove the ATI tool driver and an AOD driver from the device mananger. the ati tool driver had a yellow triangle next to it. as far as removing any AOD software, i don't think i have any. see the attached image.

i will begin memtests, prime 95, and hard drive scans and let you know as soon as i can.

I think you need to burn that ISO file to a disk and then boot to that disk.

As for making a USB stick, I followed the directions exactly and everything was fine? Where are you running into problems? Follow the directions from the seven forum guide i linked you.

ah! i tried it again just now and it worked. i think the link within the directions wasnt working last night. google chrome kept giving me an error message. i thought it was just an old link so i just googled and went to the memtest86.com. thats what didnt work. but the link in the directions is working now. ill run memtest. prime95 checked out ok. there havent been any issues today, i think the drivers were the big problem.

i use amd engine vision control though...? how do i control my graphics settings without it?

Leave it then. If the crashes continue then try uninstalling it

well, it happened again. this time i was playing FSX and it just bsod'd.

ok, i enabled driver verifier. ill try flying in FSX when i have a bit of free time later and see if it happens again so i can let you know

ok i enabled driver verifier and played FSX and same thing happened, bsod within roughly 3 mins. here are the files. i also received the same "windows has recovered from an unexpected error" when i woke the computer up from being asleep all night.

Have you run memtest yet? You never reported the results.

Have you also run the seatools test? You haven't reported the results of that either.

You can disable driver verifier now. They are crashing and not blaming drivers, which means it is most likely hardware.

sorry!! things got busy at home and i completely forgot to run those other 2 tests. i ran them yesterday/night/this morning and both seatools and memtest86 passed their tests.

ok. i tried playing FSX after doing the tests and it ran for at least 30 mins and did not crash. the system has been fine for the past few hours now with no crashes. i just uninstalled AMD vision control center. so how long should i wait before reinstalling it if the system doesnt crash between now and then?
