if arc pm'd you that is his doing and nothing to do with me, i certainly did not ask him to speak on my behalf ,im perfectly capable of doing that myself.

thirdly.
you personally know that i lost a child due to a severe handicap, hence my lack of amusement on jokes of that subject . is that so difficult to understand.

Being outbid on Ebay seconds before it finishes after waiting five days on your bid

I win things like this all the time on eBay, I set up a clock and about 3 seconds before it ends I put in my maximum amount am willing to pay and see what happens. I believe it's called being a sniper.

Ebay fees...

One worse, eBays double dip, they own PayPal so you have to pay twice!!!

When you're buying something EBay and PayPal does not charge you anything, only the seller pays EBay and PayPal fee.

Bit of a bummer though Bongo when you are at work and can't sit and watch - me I'm going for the buy it now stuff now. Just sick of those who have that software that do it for you should be banned

Agree with you Andrew but I feel that these things happen it is human nature and we live in a time that is well stressful and one does drop their guard from time to time. I have and I admit to it and I think this has proved to be a timely reminder to all that no matter what is said it can always have the ability to offend someone somewhere without the intent or premeditation as I am positive it wasn't.

Both are top fellows in my book - but I also don't agree that anything should be carried on in any part of this forum unless it can be resolved quickly. I had an instance just recently and as it turned out there was some degree of misjudgment and misunderstanding on both sides and I am happy to say that we are now firm friends.
As you so rightly put it life is too short to be at one another's throats and for my money SF is the most friendly and pleasant forum that I have ever been on.

Now lets get back to having a bit of a whinge!!

Kinda reflected my feelings and thoughts Guy and as we both have said we all have human frailties least not myself just so pleased they have come to recognise that. Again I regard them both as good friends and again a timely reminder of how quickly things can be either taken out of context or badly with no intent meant.

Now can we please get back to some serious whining and whinging and griping and grumbling and errr just generally getting off on aliens or supermarkets?
