Driver State Failure BSOD. Happens frequently.

Hi guys, I have a new Alienware m17x laptop and it's having BSOD frequently.
I'm not really sure what's the problem and I hope you guys can help me.
Here's my dump files, system health report and basic system spec.

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.
It is the original OS.
OEM.
The laptop is new, just 2 weeks since I bought it.
Same goes for the OS installation, I have not reinstalled it.

1. McAffee is a frequent cause of BSOD's.
I would remove and replace it with Microsoft Security Essentials AT LEAST TO TEST!

2. Please remove any CD visualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%.

They use a driver, found in your dmp, called sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs.

When finished you can use this Freeware:

MagicISO Virtual CD/DVD-ROM (MagicDisc) in its place

Using MagicISO to create ISO image files

These crashes are related to a pci problem. If you have any pci cards (ie video,etc) they are the issue'

I've been using Daemon Tools for quite a while now and I've never had this problem before.
But if there's a better alternative, I'll use it.
I'll do everything in your list JMH.

Strangely though, my VGA is listed as Intel(R) HD Graphics Family.
However, there's an NVDIA control panel and a driver search on NVDIA's website shows that I have GeForce GTX 580M.

If you only have had it 2 weeks how can it be :never" before.

Daemon tools is a major problem and should be removed.

As I said before it is related to pci.


Have you had any other crashes? if So please upload the dmp files.

You say your computer is almost brand new...and I would imagine under warranty.

A new computer should not be presenting with the problems you have listed - & we volunteers should not be putting at risk the rights,YOU, the consumer has under that warranty...
Be aware that attempting any subsequent hardware troubleshooting steps may, in some cases, void your warranty.

I strongly suggest that you should seek further advice asap.
Under Warranty terms a duty of care applies.

Sptd.sys is still there

MacAffee is as well. they both need to go and we will wait for you to remove them

There have been no crashes. I hope that means the problems have been solved.
If there happens to be another crash, I will go to Dell straight away.
