My opinion about this Forum

Yeah well I have been saying this all along and I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer and I have never been flamed - well once - for putting down my thoughts and theories like I have elsewhere.

In fact I have learnt more than just computing in here also a lot of human nature too, and the lengths that all of you have gone to help me out. All of you have been so patient with an old impetuous frat like myself (don't like to swear too erm much)

Have some good friends in this place. I don't know how I found it but I am sure glad that I did - thanks to you all for putting up with me as I know I am a bit slow on the uptake at times and I do go on a bit, and also especially poor old Shawn has gone to great lengths to get me back on track ( don't know how he does it to be honest).

Again thanks I have to say I do absolutely appreciate it.

Thanks, Vincent, and all the others who replied. Too often in life people only ever take the time to complain. There are a lot of good people here who deserve a big pat on the back.

Thank gawd I am not the only oldy in ere then LOL! I agree rusty although I have been computing since about 1982 it wasn't until retirement loomed - yippee!! that I got a tad more serious. Though I am not that cluey with the apps and file managing stuff I do like the hardware side though my best mate keeps me well informed (as do some of the other really patient folks!).

I have to add to what I said earlier that I have made more friends in here than any other forum and yes it's a real pleasure to boot of a morning or whenever.

Agree with all said. This is a place run for helps. Take some and give some. My limited knowledge and English suit me to be more as a learner for most of the time, post some though it sound silly. Got some interesting friends, stop by to join some chill out threads. Part of daily life recently.

Great Forum with mostly great people in it.

Nothing wrong with your English, Kevin. I can understand what you're saying without difficulty - unlike the teenspeak in my locality.

Unless a sentence has got 'I was like', 'oh my God!' or 'you know' in it, there's no conversation whatever.

Watch a lot of English spoken movies, getting familiar with some slang in it.

But sure, haven't been thinking of using it. Try speaking in a normal way alone has already taken me sweating a lot.
