I seem to go through cordless mice way too fast. They might last 8 months if I'm lucky. I always end up with a mouse that gets very tempermental about right and left buttons. I loose the sweet spot and end up with my finger in a different place to get it to work and then it will change back. I have tried cleaning them but it dosen' last. I take a can of compressed air to it but that doesn't last either. Have had one just stop responding at all.

Right now I am using a $9.99 corded Logitech and of course the cord is in the way.

Can anyone reccomend a cordless mouse that will standup to serious daily use?

I have 3 machines that I use Logitech M705s with. IMO, best cordless made. Best part about it, for me, is the fact that it is a full sized mouse, not one of those puny "notebook" mouses.

But, you know, stuff like mouse and keyboard preferences are purely subjective. I love my M705s though.

This machine was given to me when my dad bought a new computer. I keep throwing upgrades at it and it keeps on ticking. Think I've done everything to it that can be done outside a PSU upgrade so I can run an even BETTER GPU.

I don't know what cordless mice you have been using, but I have used a MX anywhere by Logitech with the unifying receiver for over a year now. Most of the time it stays in my bookbag, so it gets hit will a ton of abuse. Also, I bought it used. JMO. Also, I love the unifying receivers because I have the numberpad and a keyboard and it automatically connects to all three of them when they are turned on.
