Today is the worst day of my life!

Yesterday i was so happy after i bought another 4GB RAM and came back home! cleaned of the dust from inside the Case and cleaned all the components.. placed them back and tested my 8GB mem on MemTest86 everything was good.. today i formatted my whole system and install fresh copy of Windows after 6 months. Everything was running good and then there was a power-failure.. my UPS was working fine i shutdown the PC after 1 mins... continued installing drivers, softwares etc. after Power came back and than when i was going to Update Windows Power went off again.. i had to stop the updates and shutdown again... continues installing again and suddenly after completing update it told me that 14 updates failed and errors found installation... than i tried updating again and by mistake the SP1 was ticked and it took ages to install and several restarts of PC during completion... later on i was downloading a software Power-Failure (taadaa) what else.. i thought i will turn off the PC after 8 mins when the download will be complete... Wooohooo my UPS battery was started beeping after 7 mins and completely shuts off everything.. Thanks to the Worst Government in the world! now i just realized that the batteries i installed few months ago in the UPS are nothing but a piece of trash which cannot hold the PC more than 7 mins even if the LCD was off WOW! the batteries that came with UPS first ran about 19 months and they used to give 15 to 20 mins backup without a problem as i tested a couple of times...

All my dreams are shattered now! i hate my PC now! i wanna throw everything out of the window...

Dear boogieboy,
Just try to rationalize! Tell yourself that a failed UPS is not going to shape your day/week or month! For that matter, failed updates too! Think on the POSITIVE side that you can actually build a computer. Not many are gifted with that kind of skills. Just buy a new UPS and install this:

Today's International Womens Day . My respect, thought and best wishes for all the women I know , and dont know . I know that I dont have the ability to express it much more clearly, so I am not writing anything more on it.

In India, today's Holi .... the festival of colors . Seeing through the open window that everybody is enjoying .... but I cannot do it , with the bandages on my head and leg Last year too, I danced for hours ! ATM feeling very bad .... I am to wait one more year to enjoy this day.

I meant to post this yesterday but anyway, yesterdays Bing Home page photo was Tenby Harbour, just about 6 miles down the road from where I live. When the Handicraft shop was still going in Tenby that scene was a very popular cross stitch design and I've stitched it numerous times for the shop and their customers.

It was nice to see it had made the Bing Home page.

thanks Angie, today went very well ,i started the ECDL course and almost completed an entire module in a couple of hours, so i think i will be fine on it. also it will bring me up to scratch as to where the other students are, next week i will be doing half a day on the course and the other half doing helping , from helping students to admin stuff ( i think) so i settled in easily and look forward to more challenges and getting to know my fellow colleagues (geeks) better.
we already had a debate about win 8 and they were impressed i have it in a dual boot.
