Can I reinstall windows and use the same Key

Hey I activated windows 7 home premium on my computer but I want to reformat that same hdd then re install windows on it again, will it let me use the same key or have I already used it once?


Please don't suggest not reformatting my HDD since I need to

not really, though sometime you may be required to phone Microsoft to activate if online activation is refused. (usually automated)
this can sometimes happen if you have change some hardware or activate your system several times within a short period
Just remember you will need all the chip set, audio and other drivers after performing a clean install
