Partition "E" and "F" disappeared and unallocated

Hi
I leave My PC turn on last night and today i go back and see my 2 drive disappeared.i use "Disk Management" but couldn't see them.then i use "Acronis Disk Director Suite" and see them "Unallocated" and joined together...!if i use "Create Partition" option in acronis , all my data will lost...my question is :
how this problem happened ?
how can i create partition without losing my data ?

My HardDisk : ST3500418AS ATA

2 drives recovered.but just one of them appeared in windows

Thanx for your useful help:)...2 partitions recovered.but just one of them(E) appeared in "My Computer"and another(F) just appear in "Disk Management" or "Partition Wizard"...How Can I Fix It...?

I change "drive letter" and Reboot Windows and "F" Partition Come Back...:)

Yes it does, but that can often be done in Windows Disk Management.

I tried to shrink one of my drive and didn't work.

My drive e has 128gp and c-system drive has 78gp. I tried to shrink the e drive and extend the c drive in disk management but when I tried to shrink the drive it says not enough memory to shrink. I am sure that I selected the space less than it indicated.

Windows Disk Management will not always allow you to shrink as much as you would like.

Use Partition Wizard bootable disk instead.
