Where are my folders???

I am having problems finding a whole bunch of folders in 7 Home after moving from Desktop to D, they disappeared from Desktop, but are not on D. I am not a beginner, work all day with computers, but not IT either, rather a heavy user.

Seven has a great feature, back up and restore. Give it a try and you can go back to when the folders were seen.

Would that help with finding and or restoring of 100GB+ of data that were moved though?

What it does is go back into time. I think it is more than worth a shot. What back up and restore does is take pics of your stuff on a regular basis, and allows you to restore from those images If not possible, this may work.
