Interesting article ftrom the BBC (whatever other issues the UK has the BBC site IMO is still one of the best FREE websites on the planet).

Thanks UK taxpayers -- mind you you DO get it back in the amount of time I spend in some really great "Hostelries" available in places like Manchester etc.

Before the floods last year, I bought a Western Digital Caviar Green 1.0TB hard drive for $60. That was such a good deal! After the Thailand floods, though, you can't find good deals like that.

Before the floods last year, I bought a Western Digital Caviar Green 1.0TB hard drive for $60. That was such a good deal! After the Thailand floods, though, you can't find good deals like that.
lucky you I just had a hdd go bad and had to pay $90usd for a 500gb to replace my bad 1tb hdd which cost me $60usd when I got it, since i'm tight on a budget now and can't get me another 1tb soon :cry:

Look on ebay and amazon. You may find a good deal on a 1tb or 2tb hard drive.
