I am able to install new updates (except SP1):
KB947821 successfull installed on 20-04-2012

Do you want me to uninstall that update?

And then install that one again?

I assumed (or hoped) no windows updates succeed at all. If so go back in time using "system restore" to time prior to last succesfull windows update.

But you can install windows updates. So that doesn't solve anything.

I don't understand.

His problem is that he cannot install SP1. The link clearly states

When you try to install an update to Windows, you try to install a Windows component, or you try to install a Microsoft or third-party software program, you experience one or more of the following symptoms:

• You cannot view Windows roles or features.
• A service pack installation fails.

Please. Elaborate.

Service Pack 1 is not installable
KB2633879 is not installable (part of .NET framework 3.51)
.NET framework 3.51 is already included in win7 out-of-the-box. And is not reinstallable as far as I know.

Please perform SFC/SCANNOW in elevated command prompt. Post results

Steps to resolve this issue

2. Copy the files to %Windir%\Temp\CheckSUR directory of the corrupted computer following the subdirectory format as follows:
   1. All files of type *.mum and *.cat should be placed in the %windir%\Temp\CheckSUR\servicing packages directory
   2. All files of type *.manifest should be placed in the %windir%\Temp\CheckSUR\manifests\ directory
      
      For example:
      
      Copy Package_for_KB958690_sc_0~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~6.0.1.6.mum to %Windir%\Temp\CheckSUR \servicing\packages\
      
      Copy x86_microsoft-windows-servicingstack_31bf3856ad364e35_6.0.6002.18005_none_0b4ada54c46c45b0.manifestto %Windir%\Temp\CheckSUR \winsxs\manifests\
      
      
      
      
      Important Whenever you copy a .mum file, you must also copy the corresponding .cat file of the same name.
      
      
   3. Rerun the System Update Readiness tool.

No I do not. I made a mistake copying the link. I did download the right tool. I downloaded: Download: System Update Readiness Tool for Windows 7 (KB947821) [February 2012] - Microsoft Download Center - Confirmation

However when I use it, it just asks me to install one driver: KB947821

I used it three times alreadu and look at that: it shows up three times in my installed windows updates. Three times successful. How can this be?

So I assume theses files are NOT there(?)

Grab those two files from another win7 32bits machine and replace your files in c:\windows\servicing\packages

reboot and try again
