recomendations for game pad emulator for battlefield 3

Hi all when it comes to pc gaming I'm a total noob,and still like the feel ov a gamepad,over keyboard and mouse for mw3 i'm using joystix pro,and it works like a dream,but I can't seem to find a decent one for bf3,iv'e tried pinacle and it sucks can any body help me out,I better add a free one please.Also just a quickie I have been looking into the nostromo,gaming keyboard are they any good?

I use xpadder,not free.It emulates a keyboard and mouse.I'm surprised it doesn't recognize your controller.If it's a official 360 corded,it should work.Sorry i'm not much help.I rather use a controller too.Most games I play recognize my 360 one.

You're going the opposite way of most people. The keyboard and mouse is FAR easier to use for an FPS game than a gamepad. It's the lone reason I refuse to play FPS games on my Xbox 360. Those games were menat for keyboards and mice!!!

This. You will also likely find why console and PC games are not truly cross-platform where they can be played against each other online.

from what I have found a lot ov games are not optimised for game pads probably cos like as been said fps are designed to be played with keyboard and mouse,I'm slowly teaching my self the k/m route,but Like I said i'm a pc gaming noob,I just can't get used to not using a game pad.It may take a while but i am confident I'llget there in the end
