Is that a G41M-Combo Rev 1.3?

If so, it supports both DDR2 and DDR3.

But you cannot mix DDR2 and DDR3. All RAM must be one or the other.

The specific RAM you mentioned is not listed on the qualified RAM list, but that doesn't mean it won't work.

From the Gigabyte web site for the G41M-Combo Rev 3:

DDR3:

2 x 1.5V DDR3 DIMM sockets supporting up to 8 GB of system memory (Note 1)
Dual channel memory architecture
Support for DDR3 1333(O.C.)/1066/800 MHz memory modules

DDR2:

2 x 1.8V DDR2 DIMM sockets supporting up to 8 GB of system memory (Note 1)
Dual channel memory architecture
Support for DDR2 1066(O.C.)/800/667 MHz memory modules

(Note: Mixed mode, populating DDR2 and DDR3 memory modules simulta- neously is not supported. Go to GIGABYTE's website for the latest supported memory speeds and memory modules.)

Than you for reply. Ya I can use the DDR 3 alone. But I am confusing about the frequency 1333 will support or not that's why asking here.

As stated in my post, that motherboard is supposed to support 1333 speed DDR3 RAM.

Are you confused for some other reason?

If you are mixing 1333 with some lower speed RAM, that may be pointless---the 1333 RAM would probably run only at the same speed as the slower RAM.

Yes it will support 1333MHz as in ignaztatsonic's post...
DDR3:

2 x 1.5V DDR3 DIMM sockets supporting up to 8 GB of system memory (Note 1)
Dual channel memory architecture
Support for DDR3 1333(O.C.)/1066/800 MHz memory modules
The (OC) means you will have to manually set your RAM specs that are printed on its label, for example only: 8-8-9-28 @1333MHZ, 1.65V or what ever your RAM says.

I also have a g41m-combo and use DDR3 1666 but as the mobo only supports upto 1333 (i think with OCing) then it only runs at that speed. So to your question yes you can use DDR3 1333 with the g41m-combo. I think it supports up to 8gb over the 2 slots so dont waste money on going over :)
