HDMI support in Motherboard

Hello SF.

I'd like to connect a TV with an HDMI cable, in an HDMI input in the motherboard. However, it doesn't really get any sort of signal. I'd connect it to the gfx-card if it actually had an ordinary HDMI input instead of the mini-HDMI.
I tried downloading the latest vga-drivers on ASUS' website, but without luck. I've also tried to plug out the main monitor connected to the gfx-card and just having the HDMI in the Motherboard, to the TV- but again without luck.

To make a long story short, how do I use the display inputs in my ASUS Motherbaord.

Have you looked in BIOS to make sure you have the onboard graphics enabled?

If so, is the onboard graphics listed in Windows Device Manager (without errors)?

I've looked around in my BIOS but I couldn't find it. Do you have any experience with ASUS Bios management? Likely under Advanced but I couldn't seem to find it, only USB charge enables and stuff like that.

Should I switch this one maybe?

Look in Windows Device Manager / Display Adapters and see if it listed there without errors.

Change it to D-SUB/HDMI.

You're trying to use HDMI (not DVI) so that may be the issue

I haven't tried what you want, but you need to enable the iGPU. (Advanced, System Agent.) Maybe "iGPU Multi-Monitor".

You'll also need the Intel graphics drivers.

The manual i got has screen prints for the newer UEFI BIOS screens.

Your screen print above is for the older BIOS setup screen...
It also shows "AMD Cool & Quiet" which i wouldn't expect to see for your MB/Intel CPU...so i'm a bit confused...

If that bios picture is what is in yours, you want to use the onboard with a dedicated video card (and it has to be an ATI/AMD card at that), you need to enable the Surround View option.

A point. This is clearly not a screen from the UEFI for the P8Z68-V Pro. I wonder what motherboard it really is. Perhaps FredeGail will share that with us.

I don't actually need to have the HDMI enabled for now because I'm home from my friend. We wanted to play Mass Effect 3 and have the TV connected. Thanks for all your information, I will try enabling this when I need it someday!

This is an image I've found on Google actually, just to illustrate the option- it's available for the ASUS motherboard to as far as I'm concerned, but yeah- sorry for the confusion. I do not need to connect the HDMI anymore.

This is not my BIOS, it is taken from Google. Sorry for the confusion!

I'm terribly sorry for all the confusion I made. My motherboard is an ASUS P8Z68-V PRO.

Again, I will not need the option for now- but I want to try all your things so I'm settled for another run at my friends house. We love playing games on his TV, even if it's a pc game.
