Just got a new Win 7 laptop so this looks like the board I was looking for. Just browsing around I'm seeing lots of folks helping each other with solving issues and sharing info. I've worked as a datacom software QA engineer mainly working with WAN protocol dev such as ATM but I need all the PC help I can get.

I thought this was the only appropriate thread to post in, 'cause... well...

Damn, it's been quite a while, folks. I've been absent from this wonderful place for a really long time! Life got in the way, problems piled up, things got out of hand. Life certainly has a nasty way of screwing around, lol xD

I still checked out the forum occasionally through the Android app but barely posted anything. At one time I thought there was no point to it, as I have been using Mac OS X as my main OS until yesterday and could almost never actually help. For only-gods-know what reason, I decided to grab my old RTM copy of Vista and am having fun making it work just the way I want it to (currently in the process of buying a license ['cause I never got to it last time], till then I'm on a 30day grace period). Most people know I preferred the look and feel of Vista much more than 7, so naturally, I'm wasting all my free time doing that instead of looking for a new job, haha

Ah, the stupidity of youth X)

But in any case, just wanted to drop by and say that I should be able to continue my activities here, hopefully. And hell, I missed you guys :p ;)
