Solved Graphic card for intel DH61ww

hi.. i bought my new system without a graphic card as at that time the total cost was exceeding my budget.. now i want to buy the card.. my specs are:

motherboard: intel DH61ww

processor: core i3-2120 CPU @ 3.30GHz 3.30 GHz

ram: 4gb ddr3

hd: 500gb

psu:450W

now i need to know which card can my board support.. ,my budget is around $55-$65 .. m not a very hard gamer ..but want to play games like modern warfare n assasin creed.. please do tell ..thanks in advance..

Your motherboard has a PCI-E X16 graphics cards slot, so it'll take most cards. Your other considerations are power supply, and whether the card will fit in the PC's case.

Someone may have better advice, but I think that the best card at the moment in your budget range is a Radeon HD 6670, like:

(It's like the 6570, but clocked higher.)

Whether it will give good performance on the games that you name, I have no idea.

I'm not sure about the usefulness of benchmarks like this, but see:

PassMark Software - Video Card Benchmark Charts

The 6670 is on the "high end" list, at 1181. The GT 520 is on the "mid-range" list, at 340.

I doubt that the 6670 has 3X the performance of the GT520, but I imagine that the 6670 is still a better deal.

DH61WW may Freeze within six month use

I have three Intel DH61WW Motherboards with i3-2100. I faced freezing problem on all three mobos for last one year. And each mobos are replaced lots of times from Intel RMA(Digicare) and all mobos show same problem. I waste my lots of time for it.

In my experience the DH61WW may not ahead a period of six month, if use at least 8 hours per day.

I feel DH61WW/H61 chipset has a bug. So no one purchase a H61 chipset motherboards as blind. Coz Intel may continue this dirt chipset for there new 22nm Ivy Bridge processor.
