Hello and welcome to the forums himabharathi,

What you're describing is a typical behaviour of the UAC component in Windows 7.

User Account Control - Windows 7 features - Microsoft Windows

To solve this issue, right click on your installation executable (typically setup.exe), and select the option "Run as administrator".

Or, you can also right click on the setup.exe file, click properties, head to the compatibility tab, and tick the "Run as administrator" checkbox, and hit apply and ok...

Hope that helps!

What you mean by the bolded statement is that you're trying to save the instructions as a complete .html document using the Save Page As... function in your internet browser, but keep on getting the error "The Web page could not be saved to the selected location.", correct?

If you you keep on getting that location error, it could be (again) due to the fact that you do not have administrative permission at the locations that you wish to save the document.

In that case, it's best for you to copy the the instructions manually using Ctrl-A to highlight the whole file and then Ctrl-C, to copy, the open a new word document or notepad, followed by Ctrl-V to paste the contents.

I'm afraid you'll have to make a new thread for this question as we are going off-topic from your original problem, (administrative permission) which was already solved.

Please make a new thread in the Software section of this forum if you would like help and advice for this new problem that you have with Oracle 10g.

Make a short and easy to understand thread title so that others will be more inclined to assist you, and compose your problem clearly and as best as you can in a polite manner.

Thank you.
