I actually thought about going with the new Corsair SF/AF series as they were comparing up to the Noctua's but I personally went with the Noctua's because of the color and actually got them cheaper than and Corsair fan.

I figured I would be haha but you know, if a company decides to make their fan colors that way, there's gotta be a good reason why. Noctua's look horrible but they look great so why not, even though they don't match colors for specific cases, I'm ok with it.

The Corsair fans sound like you are standing next to a 747. But, they do put out a lot of air, but I couldn't stand the noise so I used the NF-P12 on the H100. But, the NH-D14 does a better job than the H100.

I haven't had any experience with Corsair or Noctua fans, so I can't really do any comparison... But I've been pretty impressed with the very cheap Zalman fans in my case. I paid about R60 each for them (about $7) over a year back, and even now when I turn the speed up on all of them the sound of rushing air is still louder than the fans themselves.

Well it seems all the componies are in the same loop, even if they just add a small part of their business to the same color scheme. As Asus did with the sabertooth and corsair with the vengance. If you get that motherboard,with those memmory dimms and a cpu cooler with noctua's then you allready have a "brown setup" so add them in a white nzxt chassis and you will have a look no one else has....or wants

I agree with what people have said about Corsair's Hyrdo fans, first time I started my H100 up I was shocked, it was like sitting next to a twin prop taking off! You have to admit though they perform very well, while it may be loud, heat wont be much of an issue in almost any build if you pair the H100 and its stock fans with some nice thermal paste. I initially replaced my default fans with silver stone air penetrators, but with them in, the difference between the stock cooler and the H100 is small to say the least.

Currently I am working on an RMA for my H100 as the unit itself hums and only adds to the noise, but once I get it back I will experiment with fans. I have considered noctuas, but they are generally quiet at the expense of performance, and I have learnt that performance should come above all else.

another good thing about corsairs air series fans is the price. most places are selling them in twin packs for £18.99. TWO for less then one Noctua
as for the stock corsair fans i have not heard how loud they are. both my H50 and H100 got unpacked and the fans were binned cougar voretx all the way for me.
a couple of days ago i thought id see how the cpu temps would change by using the middle speed setting on the h100. i wasnt expecting much of a difference though.

cougar vortex on the min speed setting my cpu idled @ 36c. load was 45c in IBT and 43c in BF3.
on the middle setting idle temp30 and BF3 39c. ive not done IBT again yet
thats with my cpu @4Ghz @ 1.332v

I am not one to talk, seeing as not everyone likes my build, but that chassis is definatly only good for target practise or as a crash test dummy.

Personally I think that case has some good features, it is literally a 500R in a different body, the internals are all the same (as far as I can tell), so I can therefore speak from experience, the internal layout is great and spacious. As for the outside, it provides a different look to the 500R which many people believe to be bland. Features wise, things like the carry handles make it great for a LAN case which I believe is Corsair's aim. Had it been around at the time I wanted to be getting a new case for my LAN/gaming rig, I would probably have considered it, although I agree it looks a bit tacky.

Tomha- haha,nag the case itself isnt the best looking,but looks practical,the color is best left for the army.
