Why some images on the web are invisible with High Contrast #1 theme?

When one of the standard themes, specifically High Contrast #1 theme is chosen, some images on the web become invisible. For example YouTube logo is absent from their website when this theme is set. How to make all images visible and use this theme at the same time?

Thanks.

I just tried it using the high contrast #1 and IE9 and it all looked okay to me.
Have you tried a different browser to see if you get the same thing?

That's strange... Are you sure? Please notice that not all images are invisible, only some of them. YouTube page definitely has some hidden ones.

I'm not inclined to use a browser other than IE. I remember having the same issue with IE 8, in case that answers your question. If Internet Explorer doesn't properly work with some of the standard Windows themes, then Microsoft needs to address this issue.

I do not think is is an issue, it seems that IE actually re renders the page to keep it very close to the theme it seems. I have loaded several pages and compared them between chromes high contrast mode and IE. The page rendered in IE is actually modified and loads differently than it normally would.

Its built in for accessibility reasons for those with special needs such as color blind.

If you dont like how it renders, and dont want to use another browser that renders things correctly... Dont use it.

It wasn't OK for the poster above you, and I know other people had the same issue. IE doesn't use High Contrast themes properly. Looks like it modifies style sheets, and all the images affected by those style sheets are not displayed.

Thanks to everyone in this thread for responding.
