I wonder what else MS has in their bag of tricks regardin Windows 7.

Maybe MS will sue the EU to force the other browser vendors to offer a ballot box choice of OSes with their browser.

Sue? Who do you address the plaint to? At best they can complain to de WTO and perhaps in 15 years there's some backdoor political arrangement.

THAT is the problem. The EU needs to learn how to expedite the bribery, corruption and payoff process. You know.... become more American.

Personally I don't care if IE is included or if media player is included.

What I care about is how tightly integrated into the OS they are and if I can remove them or not.

I use firefox and creative media source. The biggest problem with IE and media player is the fact that they cannot be easily removed. You get stuck with 2 browsers and you get stuck with security issues because IE is there and leaves a vulnerability unless removed.

I was able to remove IE on XP but it was way to much work for the average guy to be able to do it.

I had originally planned to import the EU version of 7 to avoid IE but it looks like I will not be able to do that now.

It is good for most EU pre order buyers , because they now get the full retail key - not the E key.

It is something for the EU and the other browsers - at least the public will be made aware there are alternatives.

I suspect very few average punters will respond to that ballot screen - it is easier for them to stick with what is already installed.

There is probably a way to remove IE 8 with dism.

I think he's a brilliant director. Always films without typical Hollywood spectacle.

clean and dry movies without false sentiment.

I loved, Million dollar baby, Bridges of Madison county, In the line of fire, Hell I can't recall any movie I don't like with him as director or actor, except for the stupid films with the monkey. (the first was funny though).
