Solved how to delete bonjour file and fix the network problems?

If you:
Power off the computer.
Disconnect any ethernet cable and any router.
Power up your computer.
Do NOT try to connect to the internet.

Now how long is the start up time?

After that determination, you can reconnect.

Here is my start up time with internet connection

How long pc takes to load before it connects to the internet: 1:38

How long it takes to load after it connects to the internet: 3.37

Here is my start-up time with no internet (Ethernet pulled out as you suggested): 1:23

Here is ipconfig

However I have got some more news that could maybe shed some light on the situation.

When my pc started with the Ethernet in, I went into the network adapter and disabled it, after this my internet began to work (although I still had to wait ages, I did not have to pull out Ethernet and put it back in again). So I restarted the pc to see if this will work again, but it didn’t, so I went into the network adepter and enabled it, and the same thing happened, I restarted the pc to see if this will work, but it did not, so I went back in the network adapter and disabled it again, and the story starts all over again. Do you think this could be part of the problem.

Is there a newer driver for Ethernet Adapter cued in optional Windows Updates, or if you click on it in Device manager to Update driver?

What other listings are there under Network Adapters in Device Manager?

Did you flush the DNS using the batch file I posted earlier?

Copy and paste these lines in Note pad.

UPDATING YOUR WIN 7
1. ASSURE THAT YOU RECEIVE ALL UPDATES
WIN | type WINDOWS UPDATE | ENTER |
Change settings (left-hand column) |
checkmark all four of the boxes | OK
button

Approve any dialog boxes presented. Let Windows install any update features.

WIN is the key with the Microsoft flag on top.

2. INSTALL CRITICAL UPDATES
Check for Updates
(left-hand column)
Install ALL critical updates.
Restart your computer (even if not prompted)

Repeat this procedure until there are no more critical updates.

DO NOT TRUST the “Windows is up to date” in center of dialog. until you see that TWICE IN A ROW!

3. INSTALL IMPORTANT UPDATES
Use the “critical update” procedure until all important updates are installed.

4. INSTALL OPTIONAL UPDATES
Under Optional updates you will be presented with:
a) Microsoft Bing Desktop which is of questionable value
b) a list of about 34 language updates.

You can hide those updates so that aren't continually notified of those updates.
When you click on 34+ optional updates are available, then you
a) highlight all of the language updates,
b) right-click anywhere in the highlighted list.
c) click on Hide Updates,
d) OK button.
Install ALL other Optional Updates.
Use the “critical update” procedure.

UPDATE GOLDEN RULES

Install ALL, yes, ALL updates.
This is Win 7 and not Vista or XP (eXPired).

UPDATE IS HUNG –TAKING FOREVER
Hung is very doubtful unless you interrupted updates.

CTRL + SHIFT + ESC key combo will pop-up the Task Manager.
Lo and behold, Windows Update is still running!

You hold down the CTRL and SHIFT keys.
While holding them down, tap the ESC key once.

There is no new driver for my Ethernet port, only one for bing desktop and my gtx 560. My network adapter already has the latest updates, there is one listing under it in device manger and that is "Realteck PCIe GBE family controller" . yes i did flush the DNS using that bacthc file, i think it made my internet load up faster, but i still have to pull out Ethernet and put it back in again for the internet to work.

Why didn't you follow the procedure given in post #70-precisely as the procedure states?

Why did you edit out information?

I don't get a good feeling.
You can't post a list of installed and uninstalled updates.
You can't post the non-edited output of MGADIAG inside a code block.
You still haven't carried out the steps given to you by Greg.

Why didn't you follow the procedure given in post #70-precisely as the procedure states?

Why did you edit out information?

I don't get a good feeling.
You can't post a list of installed and uninstalled updates.
You can't post the non-edited output of MGADIAG inside a code block.
You still haven't carried out the steps given to you by Greg.

ok, sorry, what should i do again?
