Hello,

I'm having problems with my the graphics card on my laptop. It's an APU and I have picture and videos problems. Whenever I watch movies or look at pictures I see most things fuzzy, (if that makes any sense). I tried to watch a DVD and the video quality was unbearable. The most unbelievable thing is it affects picture quality. I can't do anything without poor quality pictures or videos. I have tried installing new drivers and all sorts of things. Is it me or is it my laptop?

My Laptop Specs:

AMD A6 Quad Core APU 1.5Ghz
AMD Radeon HD 6520G
6GB DDR3 Memory 1066Mhz
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

As you supply no technical information, it's hard to guess.

Is the laptop display running at its native resolution?

I'm still getting poor video quality and picture quality. My APU has the latest drivers and I've found nothing wrong in the settings. What can I do to get my pictures and videos looking bearable?

Well your discret graphics is pretty good 6520 is almost tops vs my laptops Gpu 6320 are you using AMD steady video ?

That might be what is killing your movies and making them look crappy

Disable it and see if it gets better

did this problem start recently? or has it always been like this?

according to AMD spec the APU chip has built in Graphics-AMD Radeon HD 6520G
-an integrated processor graphics card for mid-range laptops. It is integrated in the mid-range APUs and offers 320 of the 400 shader cores clocked at 400MHz. It offers no dedicated graphics memory (shared memory graphics card).

so..once again--is this problem recent?
also--what is the make and model# of your laptop?

I've deactivated it when I first got my laptop.

The problem was there from the start. The laptop's only two weeks old.

1.maybe (?) try re-enabling the AMD steady video
2.try re-installing the video drivers-from the System Software CD supplied with your Notebook or you can download the drivers from Samsung US | TVs ? Tablets ? Smartphones ? Cameras ? Laptops ? Refrigerators
3.contact samsung support and/or return laptop for replacement

see this link

Support - Notebooks NP305E5AI | Samsung Laptops

It's worth a shot but use the factory disc not froma site because usualy laptop have limited drivers

You took off steady video from the begining and still you have issues
what player are you using and also some players look like crap when playing a movie so it could be a issue too and players do have video quility control
