Check the game configuration menu. It will either be a separate program in the same folder or an option in the main menu (or both). There should be settings there where you can adjust graphics and audio quality. Of course, it could be that the game can only utilise a 4:3 aspect ratio in which case you'll have to accept this limitation. Alternatively, set your screen to that resolution.

I know what your talking about and I have noticed it myself although I don't have to worry about having anything other then my native resolution as my computer it pretty powerful.

I think that it may be feature they have made on purpose because when you have a lower then native resolution on a LCD the picture quality looks horible and in a way that has been overcome by scaling the image to the set resolution and by doing so you don't loose picture quality but the veiwing area is reduced.

have you tried all of the sugestions posted? It might help if you filled in your system specs so we would know a little bit about your computer. You could also tell us exactly what the problem is.

Hi snd welcome to seven forums

Ok either its a display drvier or monitor. Lets take a look in devic manager (type device manager in search) look under display adapters and see if is working correctly.

You can upload a snip (use snipping tool yeah type that in search) and upload it using the paperclip icon for attachments.

lets try that first

Ken

Its been a while since I had an ati card (all in wonder days) but doesn't it come in 2 files the driver and the control center?

Let me look

Ken

edit for add . Im assuming you dl'ed the 3600 series for either 32 or 64 bit, right. If 32 the ccc is here http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_catalyst.aspx?p=win7/windows-7-32bit if 64 bit they dont support so you may have to use vista 64.

The CCC for (vowsta kinda like wowsta) vista 64 might work its probably your best bet given that they dont have a win 7 support for the ccc yet.
