Solved How to remove/format write-protected USB's?

Hey guys,
I've got a write-protected USB and wanting to remove it so I can manage files on it. I've also searched the webs for methods, however they do not work. I've tried formatting using CMD via safe mode, setting value to 0 in regedit, go into properties and change sharing settings to "full control" but it will not work. :( Anyone can help me on this?

The actual USB flash drive itself. I bought it for cheap like that. So i don't know what the previous owner did.

Tried this. Instead I created the key since it was not there and set the value to 0. Nothing happens

If it's a usb flash it could have a physical switch on it that just needs moved. Other than that we will not be able to help you bypass a password or encrypted protected anything. This will explain.

Happy your happy. Not all usb flash drives have that switch. Mostly the older ones.
