Possible GPU or MoBo problem?

While playing a game on my pc, i noticed that a green irregular shaped surface appears (for just like a flash or 1 mili sec.) on my screen when the GPU should produce the best quality of image. After that i noticed that happens when i watch a 720p vid on youtube. The green surface doesn't always appear on the same spot, and it's like 1/20 of the entire screen.
My system specs:
MoBo: Asus P5N-D http://img.directcanada.com/images/A...D/P5N-D_IO.jpg
CPU: Intel 3200 MHz 1 core, 2 logical processors, Pentium 4; ( x64 capable; soc775 )
GPU: ATI Radeon HD 5450 1 GB DDR3;
Ram: 3 GB DDR2 3x 1 Gb (2x 800mhz, 1x 553mhz)
PSU: LC-Power LC6480S Scorpio-480W
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x86
HDD: WD 40 GB Blue Caviar;

Any chance of a screen shot either from a camera or a print screen dump (snipping tool)?

Practically impossible, because as i mentioned, it doesn't cover the entire screen for like 2-3 sec so that i have time to react. It appears just like a little flash for just 1 mili sec... my pc slowed down a little in the past 4-5 days... have no idea what is happening so i came here to see if i can do something before major damage is made, or to know what is the destiny of my machine

Practically impossible, because as i mentioned, it doesn't cover the entire screen for like 2-3 sec so that i have time to react. OK so why don't we just check a few things out like temps voltages etc.
Download and run these three programs and leave running to see if your temps are rising.

Download and run these programs and then go about your normal computing. Every so often check out the temps, volts etc for anything weird.
GPU Z can even save a file to a log so if you are gaming we can look back and see if your temps are normal or not. Post back if you need any help,

Well now i tested a game (SBK 2011) that i played earlier on max settings, and it didn't lag at all. Now, it barely runs and lags like hell! My entire pc slowed down, checked twice for viruses, but no positive results... Do you have any suggestion for a free antivirus check? Have no idea what's the problem....
BTW how good are my temperatures standing

Install this and keep an eye out for high CPU temps when gaming. Just look at the maximum temperature recorded. Well after gaming, my CPU heated up to 55 degreesC ! i guess that i should change my CPU cooler... I just need some help

This is the hardware monitor you need unless you want to go PRO and buy it. Uninstal the PRO version and download and install this regular version. 50C as an absolute max on CPU, maybe 60C on video card. Cooler the better for reliability and longer life. The 3 machines I have running here have been on all day and have max CPU temps of 40C.

My graphics card goes up to 35 c and stays there, even on max usage

That's quite normal I think. Just keep an eye out for abnormal readings, as Indianatone said. Change the heat sink as fast as possible, I have had good luck with CoolerMaster HyperTX3 for years now. They have other ranges of heat sinks too, if they're available in your locality.

I am cooling 2 six cores with a pair of them so you will be fine. Make sure your case is deep enough and has room for the heatsink. You will also most likely have to take the motherboard out of the case to fit it unless your case has a motherboard tray or a hole allowing access to the backside of the motherboard from the other side of the case.

Your CPU temps are fine. 55c is nothing - save your money that is not your problem. Try reinstalling (the latest) video drivers. Run some memory tests. If those don;t tell you anything, you may have a failed graphics card.
