Well, I was tinkering with my wife's new Dell laptop (Win 7 Home Premium) and I guess maybe I got too happy with the CCleaner and deleted some registry entries er something.
It was working great and I noticed that it would not recognize an external drive I was going to install some progs from, even though I can go in to Admin Tools and see it there, and then I tried taking it online and it says Windows Explorer not responding all the time, so I think the best bet at this point is to restore it back to out of the box condition.
I just started tweaking on it, so it's not like I'll be losing much work.
Anybody know how to do this without using the re-install disc, or is that what I need to use?
