When i look at my network page i can see 1 or two other networked computers in the same "WORKGROUP" but for others they do not show up such as another WIN7 pc and a NAS. All devices are in the same workgroup and all fall under the 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0 Network. One PC in question had all details on auto and the other is a static IP NAS. Also all end devices that are windows 7 have their network as part of a home network. This problem only became aparent
I can manually type in their IP or name and then gain access to it and even ping it.
The network has all end devices converge to a single 24 port switch which then leads to the modem router (which is also the DHCP).
How do i rectify and have the end device show up in "Network" page.
I have tried:
Disabling and enabling:local area connection and all within it
toggle: home network settings e.g. Network discovery etc LLTD
power cycling all switches and end devices
did an sfc /scannow
Any help and guidance with this matter is greatly appreciated.
