Hello ashharps.

The zip you uploaded does not contain any crash dump, coz the system failed to write minidump files.
Follow it: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/174459-dump-files-configure-windows-create-bsod.html
Go to Option Two, Point 2. Download the .reg file and merge it in registry by double clicking it.

Search the .dmp files manually in the default path: C:\Windows\Minidump or %SystemRoot%\Minidump. Post it following the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions.

Anyway, the last crash you have got is a stop 0x9C, I guess.

What is the results you have got from the seatools test? There are some disc controller errors.

And, scan the system for possible virus infection.

Let us know the results.

Ok well i recently had another crash i don't know if this is the same Minidump but i've attached it anyway.

I ran Anti-rootkit utility and nothing was found.

Going to run windows defender whilst i sleep tonight seeing as it apparently can take up to a few hours.

I haven't done a Full scan using Seatools yet but will probably end up doing so. Nothing is on that hard drive as of yet.

When it comes to the bios settings of the motherboard i'm unsure if it's trying to overclock or not.. There's so many bios settings that it gets confusing. I've avoided changing anything in there and everything should be set to default.

I've monitored the temperatures of my PC and it i think it's safe to say its not overheating.

I've checked my drivers and updated the latest drivers.

BIOS is up to date.

I have not used memtest86, i will try this.

When it comes to Step 7 and says to do a "vanilla" re installation i can't really test it because the only time my PC crashes is when downloading from steam or a game launcher for example.

I've already had my PC opened up previously and cleaned any dust that was in there.

I took a peek at some of your system info and noticed two things, you have an SSD which leads me to wonder if your firmware is up to date, and my second question after looking at some of your installed programs, notably MSI Afterburner, is are you overclocking? if so stop.

Firmware for my SSD is up to date.

I have MSI Afterburner installed only to monitor my GPU temp

I have not been overclocking i'm just trying to get my PC to work with default settings.

I've noticed in BIOS that Turbo boost is enabled, should that be that way?

yes, but you could try disabling it if you would like all it does is give the system permission to use Intel turbo boost, which I'm not sure if that counts as over clocking or not to be honest.

Read a bit here: Machine Check Exception - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

So, if you cannot test and determine which part of the hardware is causing the problem, the crashes will continue to occur. For a hardware error, debugger has a very little to do.

I have suggested the steps earlier: http://www.sevenforums.com/crash-lo...top-0x124-what-means-what-try.html#post354696
