If you want the scrolling images you'll need an HTML editor and the control to work with is the "MARQUEE" this is where you set the scroll type, speed, direction, loop...

i would hazard a guess that the Op wants a scrolling bar using the stills he provided,
i think he is showing us the animated bar as an example of what he wants.
its beyond my skills.

The first one is not made with photoshop. It is too hard to control that many frames in photoshop so equivalently. In my best guess, it is made with after effects.

I dont have that program, but that's the best thing to make animations.

The other ones are elementary ....

Julius, it is not so simple to make a moving image. You have to start with just making your avatar. Get a painting program such as Paint.Net, (it is free) and start from there. For scrolling images you can use photoshop, read the manual! Or you could learn coding and use an HTML Editor.

I was thing of something like this:
a) Two layers of graphics. The lower layer contains the image with the graphics you want to see.
b) The second layer is slightly longer than the first layer with an oval window made of 'transparent' colour.
c) The you animate the second layer over the first move it over the first layer, so that the graphics underneath it show through the transparent oval window!

Here is the easiest thing I could find. Javascript can be applied to an image to get this affect. Not sure how close it will look or if you know how to implement this code.

Dynamic Drive DHTML Scripts- Moving light on image Script

[M]Also thanks Britton lol. I didn't know about this feature[/M]

used Paint.net to create a png of the original first pic and then made a layer as 27 different images for the white-out of the area. tried to use a gif creator but having trouble with 28 images. cap is 20 for the first one i tried. mind you I am also using my busted @#$ laptop luckily it hasn't overheated or crashed yet. will try to upload if I get a chance. thought I'd give it a shot since I know how to. just to much work for it to be done quickly....
