Totally remove CTRL & Mouse Wheel zoom from all applications

Hi Everyone!

Firstly I would like to say I love this forum, and would like to thank everyone who has contributed to both the general forum content and the tutorials. Strong work!!

I wish to totally remove the CTRL & Mouse Wheel/Scroll facility from all applications. I am aware you can do this in some programs individually, but sadly not all have this facility.

My Logitech MX Performance mouse is amazing, especially the free-wheel!! Sadly the majority of programs I use do not appreciate this feature, especially when using CTRL & C to, oh wait, your not copying, your magnifying to 300%.... Thanks!!

Any thoughts, ideas and methods via any means necessary would be very much appreciated

Control Panel?

I only have a standard mouse.

Doesn't the Logitech MX Performance mouse have settings in the Control Panel (separate item or added to the Mouse settings) that you can adjust?

That's interesting, as I don't have the "Adjusting your mouse wheel settings for programs" tab in my SetPoint software. I'll double check tonight that I've got the most up to date version but could very possibly be the answer...

My original thoughts was possibly a registry hack or similar.

It certainly shouldn't be necessary to edit the registry. If it is a control option that is possible then it should be manageable through the logitech software. If not ask Logitech before going to the registry.
