Hello,

I just got this Windows 7 HP laptop. It runs Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.
I have WIndows Live 2011 ,and when, and ony when, and I maximize the minimized Windows Live window it shows everyitime an annoying grey image over the sender information of the first mails.
It will go away part by part as the mouse pointer hovers over it.

I include screenshots.

Does anyone one how to stop this from happening?

Thank you very much!

ICit2lol,

Appreciate your for your reply very much.
I checked the links you sent. Unfortunately, I'm talking about my work PC, for which I have neither Administrator capabilities nor installation DVD or repair CD, in order to run the scan you recommended.

Just in case it matters:
I got the PC just 10 days ago, however, I have only used it for 5 (as I was on leave the other 5) and it has done it since the first time I turned it on. The PC is brand new.

Thanks again.

It appears your IT Dept doesn't want you to change anything on the system. Contact them for a solution.

Haven't got a viable solution.

Is this issue really that unusual?
IT department is not bothered by this petty problem, and if I do press them, I have to send them the machine as they are located in the Headquarters, and this comapny's system is that I send them the PC and tehy look at it and then send it back to my regional office. Which in turn means I have to be without a PC for several days. And a whole lot of job pile up.
So, no, I won't send it to them ust for this.
But that is besides the point, doesn't placing a question here mean we can't find the answer elsewhere??
Why send me from here to my IT department??
Just help with the problem if you know a solution.

Thank you.

Simply stated, you posted the following; "Unfortunately, I'm talking about my work PC, for which I have neither Administrator capabilities nor installation DVD or repair CD, in order to run the scan you recommended." Since you are not the owner of the computer and the IT department has placed security on it to prevent you from modifying some of the settings, me or anyone else who provided you with a method of breaching the security would be helping you violate company policy and possibly breaking the law. Legally the licensed owner has every right to put restrictions on the use of their equipment.

I hope that clarifies the issue for you.

I just need help with the issue at hand.

I know you can't possible be sure if I know what an IT department is for or what implicates violating software security policies at work. And so you feel you have to convey it.
I mean, I know there must be a lot of people who know very little when posting a question here.

What I'm trying to say, is that it should be expected when one uses this forums, that 1) one has exhausted al other options, and on the other hand 2)that, as it is forum policy not to post anything that would be considered ilegal, to be assumed that one is not searching for such advice.

So, in the end, all I'm trying to say, is post solutions to the problem or no post at all. Getting a reply and finding no real solution is well, you put a name on it.

As it is writing these posts for me. It's not efficient at all. Don't you agree?

Thanks.

I already provided you a solution, contact the IT Department.
