Windows7 cant install on GTP partition & Device Driver install missing

On the error message " A required CD\DVD drive device driver is missing. If you have a driver floppy disk , CD, DVD, or USB flash drive , please insert it now "
click on the cancel button and get back to the Install screen where you see the button " Install " and click INSTALL.

Disable Launch PXE OPfrom

ok I just ran it with PXE OpRom disable, got error, cancel, clicked install and still got error again.

I also then tryed runnng with PXE OpROM enabled then disable it after error then re enable it. And..... I still got the error...

Could anyone add me and skype and I could show you my screen if it might help

Hopefully you have an .iso file of your Installation.

Are you using the USB on the left side which is next to the DC port ?

I have the iso file. I have already used that tool and it did not work. Plus I read that that tool formats to NTFS which what I have read the USB boot disk needs to be fat32

There is a way to disable the formatting option in the tool . So you could use DISKPART to format the USB drive and just use the tool to transfer the files over from the ISO. Im trying to figure out what I did.

A program like Winrar or 7z can get the files from an iso. Thatshow I have done it using

Disable and enable the features inside the bios by pressing F2 when you get to the asus splash screen

Ha you ain't going to believe me but this bios menu has none of the option ib any of the main menu or sub menus etc!

How about this go to Boot in BIOS and enable the option Laucnh CSM and sub option Launch PXE OpROM.

I was stuck with the same issue then after some research I could make it work and I was like


and also under Security option in BIOS,Go to 'Secure Boot Control'(You need to scroll down) and disable it

Did you format your hard drive using Diskpart

Create primary partition

Format FS=NTFS quick 
Assign

Nope. As Disk 0 is my primary and only hard drive on this. Both my asus recovery and Windows Image Back-up are partitions on Disk 0 so I would have nothing to boot from. And I dont have an external drive big enough. I would have no backups so that would be a mistake.

I will have to get hold of one and make it bootable for windows image

Ok . What your Sata configuration setup as under Advanced in the BIOS ? Did the laptop come with windows 8 perinstalled ? UEFI has 3 partitions .

Try resetting the UEFI/BIOS firmware to default setting.

Why not make the ASUS USB Pen Drive Recovery disc?
