Normally when I boot up the PC it goes through the screen where I have a brief chance to slect Bios entry etc - this screen normally moves on and I get the login screen.

Once in a while this the boot process stops at this options screen, and I have to switch off and on again - when it boots as normal.

Any ideas???

Thanks.

I see that you have the 3570K . Is it overclocked at all?

Also, when did this start happening?

I don't know if this will help but could it be an option in your motherboard settings? It could be something very simple that is being looked over.

Thanks for your reply, no over clocking...any ideas?

I am having some BSOD issues which I have posted in the right place - not severe though.

Just curious if related.

Thanks

When did this start happening?

Don't mean to be vague, but not sure to be frank.

Happens maybe once a week - can not say it specifcally happens after BSOD.

Set the HD first to boot in BIOS setup, which you access by tapping the key given on first screen for it. Then look for Boot Priority, follow Help instructions to move HD to top of order, Save and exit.

Then to boot a disk or flash stick choose it from the one-time BIOS Boot Menu key given on first screen.

Let us know if this is enough.
