Solved Are these fans ok with this cooler?

Hey everybody my idea was to use the Noctua NH-d14 cpu cooler with different fans because i don't like the way the noctua fans look Just wondering if this would be a good match let me know what you think.

To be honest you 're already spending why not get the same fans as the Cooler only makes sense and they make excellent fast and quiet fans there are lot's of members here that will swear by them just my 2 cents and the spectre fans are decent I have 1 200mm and a 240mm they get the job done say the least

i know noctua fans are good but i'm just being picky and want a windowed case with a black/blue theme that including the fans thats why im curious if it be good or not if anyone knows of another 120mm and 140mm that is black with blue leds optimized for static pressure let me know please.

You can try the one's you suggested or cooler master sickle flow 2000 RPM led

Don't be foolish. Use the fans that came with the cooler. You will get use to the looks when you see the low temps.

Maybe you can split the difference and keep the sandwiched 140mm a Noc. and then run a premium 120mm LED on the outside for the looks. Noise will be higher and you may even get a degree or two difference in temps but it won't be the end of the world.

Yeah the case i was wanting to use was the Fractal define r4 looks like i will just get the non windowed version and keep noctua fans for ultimate silence

If you want a windowed case, then get a windowed case, don`t worry about the fans on the cpu cooler. Order the extra 120 mm led fan and change it if you want.

Why buy that cooler, if you want to swap out the fans ? Yes the Noctua heat sink is a great cooler, there are other options out there just as good maybe better. The Silver Arrow sb-e comes in 3 or 4 different fan colour options. Also the phanteks comes in fan and the actual heat sink itself in loads of colours. personally I'd go for the Silver Arrow, over the Noctua all day long, I'm saying that because I did. When using the silver arrow, on my i5 3570 oc'd to 4.3, my temps at iddle were around the 32 degree mark, and at full load under prime for 45 mins it never exceeded 59 degrees. It's an awesome cooler, all be it huge.

Totally agree, most of the time I don't even look at my case. I also prefer low temps over looks.

I replaced the Cooler Master fans on my Hyper 212 with Noctuas and added two of them as case fans. They are great fans and quieter than most others with the same, or more air flow.
