Cannot install Catalyst Control Center after switching motherboards.

So I have done what you told me to and I feel the difference. Path of Exile runs smoother, but I'll test it out on DotA 2 when I get the chance and I'd like to thank you for all the time you've spent helping me.

Well I just finished doing a small test on DotA 2, it seemed fine. However on Path of Exile some maps are not smooth, due to the amount of effects and the quality of the effects, as when I had my old mobo.

I just checked Device Manager again and it shows me something that is under the other devices and it has an exclamation mark on the icon. Would that be my Raedon HD? I still want to use it.

I had to swap my motherboard, because the first one died. After I swapped it I noticed that I could not use Catalyst Control Center on my laptop, which led me to find a solution to my problem. After searching for about a few days I couldn't find any solution. I used to be able to right click and then left click catalyst control center, but after the swapping it said something about the config if I recall correctly. I thought that I could uninstall it and then reinstall it but it didn't work and now I'm here.

I've tried using DriverSweeper in Safe Mode after uninstalling the drivers, reformatting my laptop, and a bunch more.

I have a switchable graphics laptop that is supposed to switch between the integrated and the Radeon HD 6770M, if it helps somehow.

I can tell you why Laptops don't use drivers from the main AMD site you have to get them from the Laptop's site

Laptops generally have a different driver set and installing from AMD will just screw you up they have optimized the drivers for that Laptop that is why you are having issues do yourself a favor and go to the makers site get your drivers and be merry

I have tried using the drivers that are from HP, but even if I do I don't get the option of installing Catalyst Control Center. I have even tried the HP drivers again after seeing your post, but it still didn't fix anything.
I am also pretty sure that your advice had already been given by FaberTech.

yeah but depending on the lap top you might have to switch the graphics to get ccc to open up and operate some have switchable graphics you have a mobile GPU if you right click see if it is switchable that maybe the issue there

I know I have a switchable graphics, because before I swapped motherboards I had the option to set some programs to run with the Raedon HD or the integrated. After swapping motherboards I could not do so anymore, so I reformatted to see if that would work after I had tried many other methods. After I reformatted I tried to re-install CCC through HP and AMD and before did not give me the option to install CCC, so now I can't switch in between the two.

On another note I have a device in device manager that is mark other device with an exclamation mark. I'm going to assume that is my Raedon HD, since I am pretty sure I have installed all the drivers for everything else that is in and connect to my laptop. Should I uninstall it or not?
Do you guys think it is a hardware or software problem? I'm leaning towards software.
