1501 works fine for me, its probably more like "not tested enough for public release". When did you see MS would release something publicly after a week of being made, unless it was leaked :)

As I stated in an earlier post, I am very happy with MSE, just not too happy with the tray icon in build 1500.

Does anybody have any idea where the icon is located so I can replace the 1500 icon with one from 1407?

Why not? if you're on Windows 7, all the extra taskbar icons are hidden under the small "arrow", so you won't see anything anyway. Unless you have the icon pinned onto the main taskbar?

The colour is an indicator of the system status. Green for being ok. Personally I find that reassuring.

do you seriously thing 2140 is NEWER then 1500/1 even tho there is ~2months of development in between? 2xxx builds where probably just some test builds that should never reach public.

of you should switch, no matter what version said 1500/1 is from 6th/12th of august, while 2140/1407 is from around ~15th of june.

MSE is pretty good. Low requirements and has a decent detection rate. I don't know anything about ESS though, so I can't tell you whether or not to switch, but I can tell you MSE is pretty good.

I agree. I've got it on all 3 Win7 HDs. I've even accepted the new tray icon - whatever color it is.......;)
