Solved Would anybody like to work with me to help me speed up my PC?

I have a lot of time on my hands. When I boot my computer up, it takes about 5 or so mins until everything finally loads.

I'd really like for someone to just help me go through my computer and really speed it up. I have teamviewer and a hard wired connection.

You're making classic mistakes for having your machine hijacked

1. Never let anyone you don't know remotely connect to your machine

I called the # on that website that I had found, and they are legit.

If you guys wanna give me some recommendations, please feel free. I mean my computer is definitely fast, I'd just like to see it work better, it's just become a pain in my ass over time.

Also, I have a question about overclocking, my motherboard can be overclocked, but I'm kinda afraid to go into the BIOS and tweak anything because I've never done that sort of thing.

Doing now: Uninstalling any programs that I don't really use.

To make your machine faster, there are several ways. I would start with uninstalling anything you don't need and use and limiting the stuff you do have installed during bootup phase, you can alter which programs and services autostart and which don't by editing your services.msc and System Configuration Utility aka msconfig.exe. You have to be admin to edit either one of those. But please be careful when choosing what services to turn off and which ones to keep, you don't want to turn off something critical. I for example, went through the entire list item by item, googled each and decided once I knew exactly what a given service does. You can really trim the list of stuff that starts up when you turn on your machine. Get an SSD--from loading, to performance, you will see a big improvement.

Don't know why it would take 5 mins to load, but with a SSD. your comp will boot and load in about 30 secs.

As above but i think the two main thing that will speed up startup are lightening programs loaded at boot via msconfig or installing an SSD, your comp specs look reasonable and i think you will see lightening performance with an SSD if you have the £$£$ for one
