Dual Boot problem, Ubuntu is the main boot

hi ..

can any body help me ...

i am trying to recover windows 7 i did all the steps mentioned above ....but again its booting from ubuntu ...can any body help i got this messages ...

but again its loading from ubuntu .....

Found Windows 7 (loader) on /dev/sda1 so win7 is in grub boot menu?

Do you want win7 boot menu and selct ubuntu there?
Or do you want grub boot menu and select win7 there?

In win7 install easybcd EasyBCD - NeoSmart Technologies
Or diectly from EasyBCD Download Registration - NeoSmart Technologies
install it and run it. Now do this



Of course call it something like "Ubuntu".

Reboot. Now you see grub linux menu first. Select win7 there. Now you see the win7 bootmenu with 2 options: win7 and Ubuntu. Both are working?

Step 2 - Add the Windows 7 boot entry
Step 2 - Review the Windows 7 / LinuxMint13 boot sequence =>Must be called Step 3

install easybcd in win7!! I told you before in #24

That is the problem na sir ....when i switch on the system ,on the grub window i get options of unix and others AND WINDOWS 7 ( LOADER ) (/dev/sda).

but when i select this menu it shows :

INFO: The boot selection failed because a required device in windows failed to inaccesible start ...and it returns to grub window page ..

so how can i install easybdc conversion ....on windows 7 ??

the win7 bootmenu is corrupt! It's pointing to wrong disk.
In linux: Look in all disks for file /boot/bcd
It must be on the ACTIVE partition. Delete that file. Then do a startup repair 3 times with reboots in between http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/681-startup-repair.html

It will rewrite the MBR (so replace grub MBR code with win7 mbr boot code). Also it will make bootmenu from scratch (if you deleted \boot\bcd in first step)

Win7 is working fine now and grub is gone? If so... in stall easybcd
