How much coffee do you drink a day?

A gallon in the mornings before work. (I buy bottled water so I know) Usually a few cups at work in the evening especially if its cool or wet.

My Grandmother started my love affair with the magic bean. Those cold mornings at the kitchen table with my hot cup, sugar and milk then black and strong now, the hot biscuits.......

i also do not drink a single drop of coffee. a mug holds more than that. especially my oversized one.

at least unless i need that last drop in the cup to tide me over until i get the aerobee coffee press set up and running again. which is usually at least every morning. sometimes twice. then i shift to the mug which is also a cafetiere to save time for the next couple of cups. i fill in the inbetweens with instant.

i buy a commercial italian blend in bulk. last order was only 4 kilos. i freeze it to keep the essential oils and aromatics from drying out, and only keep a 250 gram tin in the fridge as a working amount.

other than that, i don't drink coffee much.

I cannot function in the morning until I have had my coffee. On work days I typically drink about 4 cups a day ( throughout the day). On weekends I only have a cup in the morning and maybe one cup at night after dinner.

My father was a coffee addict so he started my brother and I off early. It was part of our morning routine for so long that it just stuck.

Depending on the day I average around 5-7 cups a day. Getting into the office early is nice, quiet and able to get my coffee fix going in peace

I don't drink coffee (don't like the taste), but I do take caffeine in pill form. My brand of choice is Jet-Alert. You can find it in stores such as Target and Walmart. Costs around $3 for a bottle of 90 200mg caplets. That's the caffeine equivalent of 225 Red Bulls! When I need to clean my bathroom, I down 2 caplets along with a big glass of ice water... 15 minutes later yours truly is joyously doing the Irish Jig while scrubbing the toilet.

I have to have my morning cup or two. And usually another one or two as the day goes on. I have a Tassimo so brewing one cup when I want it is quick and easy. Every once in a while I'll brew a Latte. It'll do Tea and hot chocolate too so it comes in handy.

I have always loved the smell of coffee but hated how bitter it tasted so I was never a big coffee drinker. However, I recently discovered flavored creamers, more specifically, Hazel Nut flavored creamer and I am addicted to that stuff. I drink 2-3 cups in the morning and occasionally drink another cup in the evening. We don't have a coffee brewer so any I drink at home is instant. Without that flavored cream, the only time I drink coffee is when we go out to breakfast.

One of my favorites for my Tassimo is Macchiato. It's caramel espresso with sweet latte. If I'm having a real bad day one of those will perk me up.
