How can attached picture file be shown as screenshot to Yahoo!recipien

Hi everyone,


I am quite surprised about this attached file that is shown as a screenshot inside the content of the message, although the person who sent the message to me only attached th picture file with the message. However, when reading the message I see the picture is shown as a screenshot.
I really attached a picture file with my message and sent the message to an email. However, the picture file was not shown as screenshot. However, it was shown as a picture file only attached.
How can I let a attached picture file be shown as a screenshot inside the content of the message for the recipients who will receive the Yahoo message? (As in picture shown below)

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

I really didn't such 'Reading mail' in my Yahoo!mail's options.

I really wanted a ttached file picture to be shown for recipeints as a screenshot, exactly as any screenshot at this forum.
I hope you understand me

You would need to use Rich text when you compose a message,
I can't say the exact process I don't use yahoo though the attachment options will usually list a photo email option/ Share...when you attach a file.
This forum acts a little differently than a email service, it has a upload function and storage to make the process of issuing attachments very easy.
Email services often use online storage services/ outlook.com and Hotmail uses Skydrive,
gmail uses google drive,
Which these files need to be uploaded to skydrive or google drive before a photo email can be sent/ shared with the recipients as you want.
Here is an example of using skydrive to post a screen shot here instead of using this forums upload feature, this will also work in any email service,
I simply open skydrive/ Viewed the Original file and Copied and Pasted it here,

Thank you so much indeed, I really noticed online storage service (Dropbox) is only used by Yahoo . Also, there is not any option in Dropbox service to let a choosing file be shown as screenshot. I can only choose file from Dropbox to be attached with an message. So there is no difference between attaching from my compure or from Dropbox.

I really saw an option in Yahoo Mail option, which is as shown in this screenshot below:

But I have tried choosing 'extra large' with Sans sarfi 1, but didn't achieve what I have been looking for

I would recommend Skydrive not drop box,
For one skydrive does not have Any Advertising popups or restrictions in uploads Original size pic's can be uploaded,
Plus it has 7gigs of free storage.
Drop box has 4 or 5gigs but it also Compresses everything you upload/ resizes and has some bazaar limitations of usage and can delete content for non use.
Another thing I like about skydrive is if I paste a picture like above it will say posted here indefinitely unless I move the file in the folder it's in on skydrive/ the link will be broken,
dropbox has limitations on how long a shared file will be available.
We're talking about sending a photo email,
Which the only requirement is that the file is uploaded to a file sharing site of any kind,
After that is just a matter of viewing the original,
Then Copy and Paste operation,
Yahoo makes dropbox available but skydrive can be used/ just a little differently.

then drag it into the email or copy and paste. its simple

I did that, but unfortunately, the picture wasn't shown for recipient despite it was pasted in my message's text. However, after sending it didn't appear for the recipient.

Alo, I have uploaded the picture, then I copied its direct link. After that, I insert it in the 'insert link' option in the tollbar of message's compose. Then, I only saw that the link is still link and didn't appear as screenshot.


If you had a look at my screenshot in my very first post, you will get what I have been trying to do.
I want attached picture be listed as screenhots

As I stated on my first reply,
Your screen shot of an opened message is giving you a (Preview) of the attachment and download options,
Which is simply Using plain text (Not dropbox) in sending files to others,
What I can't tell is what Browser your using ?

yeah i understand,
when you upload the picture to the host site then you need to open the picture from there and copy or drag it into your email.
though it seems you were able to add the picture as an image embedded into the message but your recipient didnt see it.
not sure why that is .
maybe if you used the same email provider as your friend then it will show.
