DCHP Server leasing out ips in the wrong range?

Hello I'm having issues with router leasing ips outside the the gateways range.

Example Gateway ip is 192.168.0.1 and it is trying to lease out the range of 192.168.1.xxx, I'm not sure why it is doing this as the dchp server range is set in 192.168.0.xxx

Multiple router setup in house/garage room type setup line runs out here and I have my own router. Only have been noticing this problem past couple days so I reset the main router1(dlink gamerlounge) then setup the ip back to 192.168.0.1 and reset my other router2(netgear wgr 614v4)

Noticed I had to unplug router2 before I could re-setup router1, after that I just plugged it back in and everything appears find for me except I'm still noticing its leasing some devices the wrong ip.

Anybody know whats wrong is one of them faulty or overheating or something, the routers are pretty old.

Are the both routers set up with the same lease? E.G (router1=192.168.0.X/router2=192.168.0.X

Most likely you will need to disable DHCP on the secondary router so that only the first one is handing out IP addresses.

Also ensure that you aren't using the WAN port on the secondary router, the first router or switch needs to be plugged into the LAN port on the secondary router.

Yes, enable DHCP on the router directly connected to the modem and disable on all others.
Secondly, on the second router, leave the WAN slot empty and connect Router#1(lan) --> Router#2(lan).

All systems will be on router#1 subnet and have ability to use print/file sharing
