Solved Can't access Facebook from one computer but can on another

I'm helping a friend out:

While she can do it at work, she can't log onto her Facebook on her own computer. Her computer is an Acer Aspire Laptop, and it started two days ago. Now I know with something like this, she probably got banned. But no, she discovered this on her computer before seeing it was okay at her work before coming home with the same problem. Plus, I could imagine you would possibly get an e-mail at least, right? We even sent a message to Facebook with no luck. And also, the page that pops up when she tries to log in just shows an maintenance error page. I logged her out and tried mine, and it works. So for some reason, she can't log onto Facebook on her computer unless I was on another. This is confusing, and while I tried deleting the cookies (she mainly uses Firefox), it didn't do anything. So she needs help, and I wanted to ask you guys so I can help her. Any ideas?

Wait until it finishes uploading then close the window . Then click Submit Reply .

Sounds to me her security suite has expired, what does she use for security ?
Is this a new machine/ Guessing 90-180 days old ?

Drag the JRT.exe from the Downloads folder to your Desktop

Right click JRT.exe and choose

Once done upload the JRT.txt file

I've had this same problem since Facebook started updating on Wednesday, as have others on other forums. An issue with Facebook itself maybe?

Not seeing anything . Can she go to Facebook inside Internet Explorer ?

Same thing on IE and Firefox on her computer, and now we tried her account on my computer and its the same. So now I don't know; maybe its not the computer but her account, but why is it doing this and taking so long for their "maintenance"?

Can she go to the Facebook website on her computer ? Also what do you mean same on your pc she can't login to her Facebook account ?

Lets clean the temp files this will also empty the Recycle Bin
