Hey guys, I've been getting BSODs that are apparently being caused by ntoskrnl.exe. Sometimes happen within minutes of turning on the computer, sometimes not at all. I've read it may be caused by a graphics card driver, but the driver is already on its latest version. Currently running Seatools on my HD to see if that comes up with anything...

Dump files attached.

Thanks in advance!

You appear you have a Acer/Gateway/Packard Bell OEM_SLP key on a retail motherboard, your installation is counterfeit, please format and install with a genuine key.

Is that the problem?

Kinda reluctant to format/re install - I've got a lot of work on my PC :(

Seatools and Memtest haven't turned up anything btw.

It could be - some hacks used to circumvent the activation check are known to be the cause of BSOD, and its almost impossible then to diagnose where the BSOD originates.

Having lots of work on your PC shouldn't be an impediment to reinstalling genuine software....simply back up your work to an external drive, then copy it back again to the newly installed system.

Site rules prevent us offering you further help until you can demonstrate your system is genuine.
